At HLB Signs, we make the process of creating your custom signage as straightforward as possible, and we work with you every step of the way. Please take a look at these frequently asked questions for any initial queries you may have:

  • Do I need to provide my own artwork?

    As a creative and experienced sign company, we can work with you or an external design company to create your signs based on artwork you have provided. Equally, our in-house team can create the artwork after our initial discussions with you and understanding your objectives.


    We do require logos and descriptions of any particular fonts, colours and branding.

  • Do you deliver the signage?

    We pride ourselves on fast delivery times to our UK-based clients.


    We can either deliver your signs if you plan to install yourselves or if the signage doesn’t require installation. If you are using our installation services, we will of course deliver the signage when we come to install. We always quote delivery based on the size of the job.

  • Do you install signage too?

    We absolutely install signage too. Our qualified and experienced installation team install a huge range of signage from outdoor signage to custom designed signs. We will include installation prices in your initial quote.

  • Can you provide maintenance of my signs?

    Our team is with you every step of the way, which includes after the signage has been installed, to ensure the signs are maintained well and will advise on the best ways to keep them in good condition.

  • How long will it take for my signs to be created and then installed?

    Depending on the complexity of the signage will deter how long the whole process will take.


    However, we guarantee that once all sign designs are approved and signed off, delivery time is fast.


  • I have never had signage before, will you be able to advise me?

    As a team with 20 years of experience, we have vast skills and knowledge of working with a wide range of industries and producing a huge array of signage. You can be assured that we will advise you on the best designs, materials and signage for you. Initially we will visit the site and discuss options and constraints, we will then work closely with you on design and guide you through material choice.
